Our home is located on the south shore of the largest basin on Crooked Lake in Angola, Indiana. The home faces north and enjoys beautiful sunsets and wonderful water views. Because of the location of the home and shade trees, it is sunny and bright but comfortable all day. The home is within walking distance of Captain's Cabin, a local restaurant. From our deck we see fireworks, hear concerts in the distance, and watch boats, kayakers, and skiers go by as well as see the occasional sea plane landing for dinner at the restaurant. The master bedroom has large windows facing the lake and both the first floor and the walk-out basement level have decks facing the water. A new 60 foot long pier has a 10' x 12' area at the end for entertaining on the water. The sand is soft but protective water shoes are recommended. The kitchen has new appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, stove, and microwave) and a round oak dining table. The adjacent living room has large windows to enjoy the lake view, a comfortable sofa, a large TV with cable, several chairs, books, games, puzzles and a game table. A cozy screened in porch leads to the deck. The second floor has 2 bedrooms (1 master with a California King bed and a large guest room with queen and a separate "twin-over-full" bunk bed). If two sleep in the full bed, the home accommodates an additional person. There is a full bath with a shower & tub that is shared by the upstairs bedrooms. The finished basement can be accessed from inside or outside the home. The basement has a bedroom with a queen bed and small twin bunk bed over a closet. Note: the bunk bed has low clearance - if used, then the house accommodates an additional person. The basement also has a living area with a large flat screen TV, a couch and an adjacent full bathroom with shower. The basement has a covered patio with a charcoal grill and stairs leading down to the lake. With great views also comes many stairs so all guest should be able to navigate stairs and take great care to not run or fall. The home is ideal for 6-7 adults and 3-4 children, for a total of 10 people. Small pets considered, but there is only a small grass area near the water and the property is not fenced. Our small dog visits but we keep her on a leash when she is outside. Check-in is anytime after 4 pm on Saturdays and check-out is by 11 am on Saturdays. One week minimum stay required. Jimmerson Lake is connected to Lake James and three other lakes (Snow, Big Otter, and Little Otter). If you plan to bring your boat, there is plenty of lake area to explore and enjoy!! Comfortably sleeps 10 adults, and there is a bunk bed that could sleep two additional children. The house sits on a very large lot that has a large driveway for parking cars or storing your boat trailer for the week. The house has a large updated deck and fire pit in the front year. A bonus is the playset and large sandbox in the front yard for the kiddos to play in between boating. We were able to split our group up among the 2 cabins which gave us plenty room to sleep and hang out. Both cabins have big decks with seating to relax by the water. We were able to use the dock to hook our boat up to when we wanted a break from the water. The cabins were an easy walk from many restaurants and bars which was a huge plus! The owner was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had. Great rental and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful waterfront home with large yard, our home is set back from the water. We are located on the middle basin of Lake James facing Pokagon State Park. This home is built on a hill and has lots of stairs and is not recommended for those with walking difficulties or wheelchairs. Absolutely no more than 10 guests at any time. This includes day guests. Parking for 4 cars. No large groups or noisy parties. The house is updated with all the kitchen amenities, granite counters, dishwasher, wine cooler, eat in kitchen, diningroom, living room, gas fireplace, 2 large screen TV's, two outdoor decks. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING. Bedrooms consist of one king, one double and two twins on upper level and one queen bed and two twins on the lower level. The lower level also has a washer and dryer and an extra refrigerator in the full bathroom. Sheets and towels are not provided, blankets are. Outside there are two full decks to enjoy the lake view or to have dinner and wine and enjoy the sunset. The lower deck is dry if it rains or is too hot, so it's a nice gathering place in the summer. There is also a small beach house down by the lake side which is screened in and provides additional seating in the summer, a table/chairs for games and a 1/2 bath. There is a large dock and space for you to bring 1 boat only. There's also an outdoor gas grill and gas fire pit and the use of our 3 kayaks (one is small for a child) Sandy bottom and nice swim area off of the dock.

We offer lake living for a fraction of other rentals in our area. Our home goes for $99 nightly for up to 4 people while a home across from our association beach goes for almost 400. Add another 24 percent for Steuben and Indiana State taxes and that is almost 500 a night. Our home is newly remodeled and features a large open living area with the kitchen flowing to the open dining room flowing to the living room. The large 55 inch Panasonic TV with DVD player is view-able throughout. There are two bedrooms down a short hallway with the bathroom and laundry room in between. The master bedroom is at the end of the hallway. Our huge lot is snuggled between two private roads and many trees where the main traffic is an occasional golf cart heading to a private playground and beach about two blocks away. Our lot features some tall trees all around with a wonderful private picnic area highlighted with a large open fire pit for cooking or just telling war stories around. There is plenty of area to throw a football or Frisbee. All is new with our remodel. All new drywall wall, new vinyl plank wood flooring, new elegant front door. new tub and shower and more. Brand new kitchen from Menards with custom cabinets. We are also adding a new window air-conditioning, washer, dryer, stove, microwave, and new light fixtures. The home is 1.1 miles from the area known as 4 corners with Mexican and 4 other family restaurants. One restaurant and private brewery is Mad Anthony's within 3/4 of a mile. There is the famous Toms donuts and a frozen yogurt shop where you can sit and watch many boats go by heading to and from Lake James from Jimmerson. There are also boat and dock rentals including pontoons Jet skis and ski boats. We have access to Lake Jimmerson that connects to Lake James, Snow lake, Big Otter, and Little Otter (see map). Pokagen state park is just a few miles away over looking Lake James. Unless you need more than 4 people come enjoy your stay here and use the $400 dollar daily savings to rent a boat or take in many events.
